Two weaving traditions share one drape here. The body is Pochampally double ikat, where warp and weft are both resist-dyed before weaving; the pallu is Rajwada, the heavier ornamental style, arriving in orange against a blue body. Blue and orange sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, so the pallu lands with real impact when you turn.
A Kanjivaram-style border frames the whole saree, giving it South Indian grandeur to match the pattern-work. It is a genuine wedding piece — rich, handwoven and built to be kept.
