Patola is the most labour-intensive weave in India, which is also why an authentic one costs more than most wardrobes allow. This set takes a different route: the patola motif rendered as a fine print on soft silk, so you get the geometry and the colour play of the original at a price you can actually wear to work.
The top carries the multicolour patola grid — diamonds, parrots and florals stepped across the width — and it is finished with a red designer dupatta and a matching bottom. Soft silk falls differently from cotton: it drapes close, catches light, and makes a simple straight kurta look considered.

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. This is a patola-pattern print on soft silk. A genuine double-ikat patola is a different product at a very different price, and we would tell you so before you bought one.
