A pink Pochampally double ikat pure silk saree with a designer pallu and a contrast blouse piece, 6.3 metres in total.
Pink is the colour that sells a Pochampally on sight and tests the dyer hardest. Too blue and it goes cold; too warm and it reads as peach. Getting it right across an entire warp that was tie-dyed before weaving — rather than piece-dyed afterwards — is a genuinely difficult job, and it is why good pink ikats hold their value.
The pallu here is a designer panel rather than a continuation of the body, so the saree finishes on a distinct note, and the contrast blouse piece is supplied with it.

Care
Dry clean only. Pink silk fades along an exposed fold faster than any other shade, so store it in the dark, wrapped in muslin, and refold it on a fresh line every few months. Low iron from the reverse.
