A regal purple Pochampally double ikat pure silk saree, edged with a pink ikat border and zari — handwoven in Telangana and cut for festive and traditional occasions.
Double ikat means both warp and weft threads are tie-dyed before a single pick is woven — the weaver has to line up two separate dye patterns on the loom. That is why the purple motifs have their characteristic soft, feathered edge, and why the pink border sits against the body without a hard seam.

Care
Dry clean only. Purple is a dye that fades with sunlight faster than most, so keep the saree out of direct light both on the hanger and in storage. Wrap in muslin, iron on a low setting with a cloth over the zari, and keep sharp jewellery away from the ikat body to avoid pulls.
