A white Pochampally double ikat pure silk saree laid out in the Ghatchola checks pattern, with zari marking the grid and a pink pallu closing the drape.
Ghatchola means the body is divided into a grid of squares, each one outlined in zari and filled with a small woven motif. On a white ground the geometry is the whole point — there is no colour to hide behind, so the weaver's spacing has to be exact from the first square to the last. The pink pallu gives the saree somewhere to land.

Care
Dry clean only — white silk marks easily and cannot be spot-cleaned at home without leaving a ring. Keep it wrapped in unbleached muslin, never in plastic, which yellows white silk over time. Store away from wooden cupboards that have been recently polished.
