Kalamkari Printed Soft Silk Saree in Red with Designer Pallu and Gold Border

Why red?
Because it is Lakshmi's colour, because a Telugu household expects to see it on Deepavali morning, and because nothing else holds its own against gold jewellery and diya light. Red is not a safe choice at a festival — it is the correct one.
Why this red saree and not another?
The printing. A plain red silk is a block of colour; this one carries Kalamkari motif work across the whole body, so there is something to look at when someone is standing beside you, while from a distance it still reads as a clean red drape with a gold line down each edge. The designer pallu concentrates the pattern where it actually gets seen.
Will it be comfortable?
Yes — it is soft silk, not heavy kanjeevaram weight. It drapes out of the fold, takes a sharp pleat, and will see you through a two-hour puja and a longer lunch without complaint.
6.3 m including the 0.8 m designer blouse piece, gold border. Dry clean only and keep it dry, as red can bleed.
Order on srimanishasarees.com in time for the puja, or see it at Abids.
