We have two mustard-and-red Pochampally sarees this season. This is the grander one.
What sets it apart is the border. Instead of a plain edge, the red border here is woven in full patola design, and the same patola pattern carries into the pallu. That means more tie-dye work, more weaving time and a richer frame around the mustard body — the kind of saree that holds its own at a wedding hall.
