Green — pachcha in Telugu, pachai in Tamil — is counted among the most auspicious colours a woman can wear for a festival. It is the colour of new growth, of the tulasi kota, of mango leaves strung over the doorway on a festival morning. This saree carries it in two depths: a fresh sea green for the body and a deep, forest-dark green for the pallu.
The tone-on-tone pairing is what makes it elegant. Instead of a sharp contrast, the colour simply deepens as the saree drapes, giving a rich, layered look that suits Karthika Deepam evenings, Tulasi puja, a seemantham or a temple visit in the cool winter months.
The patola motifs are true Pochampally ikkat: the silk yarn is tied and dyed in measured sections before a single thread is woven, then aligned by eye on the handloom so the pattern emerges row by row. It is slow, skilled work, and every saree turns out a little different from the last. Finished with a designer blouse piece. Only one piece available — handloom, never repeated exactly.

Quick answers before you order
- Is the blouse included? Yes — a generous, large blouse piece comes with the saree, unstitched, with ample fabric for any blouse design.
- Length? 6.3 to 6.5 m in all — a long saree plus a large blouse piece, so there is plenty of fabric for pleats and drape.
- How do I care for it? Dry clean only. Air it after wearing, refold along a new line every few months and store it wrapped in cotton, away from damp.
- Will the colour match the photo? Photographed in daylight. Handloom yarn is dyed by hand, so a slight shade difference is natural. Ask us for a live video call before you buy.
- How fast is delivery? Same-day dispatch. Same-day delivery anywhere in Hyderabad; 2–3 days anywhere in India by courier, with a minimal delivery charge.
- Cash on delivery? No — all orders are prepaid through secure payment.
