A red pure Pochampally single ikat silk saree with a blue patola border and a matching blue patola pallu. Supplied without a blouse piece.
Red and blue is a bold, confident pairing — a warm body inside a cool frame. The patola border and pallu carry the geometric diamond grid Pochampally weavers are known for, set in blue so the red body stays the hero of the drape.
In single ikat only one set of threads is tie-dyed to pattern before weaving, which gives the motifs a soft, slightly feathered edge. That small irregularity is the mark of the hand loom, and no two repeats are exactly alike.
