A sky blue pure Pochampally double ikat silk saree with a contrast royal blue ikat border and pallu, and a red blouse piece finished with a zari border.
Sky blue and Royal blue is a classic wedding contrast — regal, festive and easy to accessorise with gold. The Sky blue carries the body with depth, and the Royal blue ikat border and pallu bring warmth right where the eye lands.
Double ikat is the most demanding form of Pochampally weaving. Both the warp and the weft are tie-dyed before the loom is set, and the pattern only appears when the two sets of threads line up exactly. It takes weeks of preparation before the first pick is thrown.

Care
