Most contrast sarees jump colours. This one stays inside green and shifts tone instead — a bright, vibrant green through the body, then a deep dark green pallu. The effect is quieter than a hard contrast and, in person, considerably more expensive-looking.
Across the body, Jamdani thread work carries floral weaving: each motif built up with supplementary weft threads while the saree is on the loom, which is why the flowers have weight and a slight raised feel instead of the flatness of a print. The golden zari border closes into a temple border along the edge, and tassels finish the drape.
Pairs with gold jewellery as the obvious choice, but it also takes temple jewellery and oxidised silver surprisingly well if you want something less predictable.
