Vibrant Orange Jamdani Silk Saree with Golden Temple Border and Tassels

Orange is a difficult colour to get right in silk — too dull and it reads brown, too bright and it fights the jewellery. This one lands in the middle: a warm, saturated orange with real depth, which is exactly the shade that holds up under both daylight and function lighting.
The work is Jamdani thread work, where the motifs are built on the loom with extra weft threads as the fabric is woven, so the pattern sits in the cloth rather than on top of it like a print or an embroidery. A golden zari border runs the length of the saree and finishes in a temple border — the triangular pointed edging from South Indian temple architecture. The pallu is worked as a designer panel, and tassels are attached along the edge, which give the drape movement every time you walk.
This is a festival and wedding-guest saree. Stock is one piece, so once it goes, it is gone.
