This is not a subtle set, and it is not trying to be.

Purple and red, both at full strength, woven as ikat on pure Pochampally handloom cotton. Two colours this close in temperature would fight each other in a print; in ikat the blurred motif edges let them bleed into one another instead, which is why the combination works here and almost nowhere else.

Supplied as a complete unstitched three-piece suit — top, dupatta and bottom.

Is this stitched or unstitched?
Unstitched. Top, dupatta and bottom arrive as separate fabric pieces so your tailor can cut them to your exact measurements.

Will the red bleed into the purple?
Not in normal wear. Wash separately in cold water for the first few washes, as you would with any naturally dyed handloom.

How do I wash it?
Cold hand wash, separately, and dry in shade — both of these shades are light-sensitive.

Will the colour look exactly like the photo?

Is only one piece available?
We buy in small lots, so most designs are one of a kind. Once a piece sells it rarely returns in the same colour.
