Genuine Pochampally ikkat from Telangana. Each thread is tied and resist-dyed in sections before weaving, which is why the motifs carry that soft feathered edge a print can never reproduce. Pure cotton, light enough for Hyderabad heat, and it only grows softer with age.
How much to order: 2.5 metres for a plain kurta, 3 metres with full sleeves, 5.5 metres for a kurta and matching bottom.
Care: first wash cold and separate, dry in shade, no bleach, medium iron.
