A matka — the earthen pot — repeated in copper zari across a deep violet ground. It is an unusual motif to commit a whole loom to, and that is precisely the appeal: nobody else in the room will be wearing it.
Pure Banarasi handloom silk. Copper zari is warmer than gold and reads beautifully against violet, picking up the red undertone in the dye rather than fighting it.
