Green Banarasi Handloom Silk Fabric with Gold Zari Finish (Per Metre)
Pickup available at Chapel Road Fateh Maidan Abids
Usually ready in 2-4 days
Green and gold is the combination every South Indian wardrobe returns to for weddings, and Banarasi silk is where it looks most expensive.
Handwoven Banarasi silk with a gold zari designer weave running across the entire fabric. The green is deep enough to carry heavy jewellery without competing with it, and the zari is worked into the weave rather than embroidered on, so it will not lift or pull.
Best suited to: wedding and muhurtham wear, a festive kurta, or a blouse for a traditional silk saree.
How much to order: 2.5 metres for a kurta, 3 metres with full sleeves, 2 metres for a blouse and dupatta.
Care: dry clean only. Fold in cotton cloth; avoid hanging zari fabric for long periods.
From Sri Manisha Sarees, Abids, Hyderabad — handloom specialists since 1997. Ask for a video call and we will show you the green in natural light before you order.
